Elzhi - ELmaticDetroit landmark MC and former member of Slum Village, Elzhi's newest mixtape is almost too good. Even though paying homage to Nas' debut 1994 release Illmatic, this album is far from a copycat. I have to say that it is good to see he hasn't given up and left the hip hop scene after his release from Slum Village, as we can't afford to loose any more MC's of his caliber. Just the track "It Ain't Hard To Tell" makes this album a classic, with the added bonus that the album comes with 9 more songs just like.
